He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lawrence and Gertrude Lawrence (Holston); his children, Franklin Joseph Lawrence III, Michelle Lawrence and Mary Jean Meeks; his brother James Lawrence; and his grandson Patrick J. Klemm.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Ellen Dodd; his daughters, Carolyn Meeks (Charles), Wendy Wallace (Robert) and Vickie Rudolph (Jeremiah); and his sisters, Dorothy Hartz, Margaret Welsh, Shirley Dollinger, Helen Hilton and Terry Ersland. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
