Emmagene D. Akers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emmagene D. Akers of Honey Brook, Pennsylvania, born in Waynesburg, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 22, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan E. Davis and Blanche M. Davis (Geiser); her husband P. Ivan Akers; and her brother Richard Davis. She is survived by: her children, Mahlon Edward Akers (Ellen) of Sebring, FL, Richard Mark Akers (Jean) of Newtown Square, PA, Joel David Akers (Wilma) of West Chester, PA and Jocelyn Elizabeth Whitpan (Kirk) of West Chester, PA; her sister Gladys Oaks (Don) of Pine Grove, PA; and her sister-in-law Martha Davis of Waynesburg, OH.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
