We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2023, at the age of 95, Eileen Schafer of Honey Brook, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Henry Schafer; and her parents, Daniel Paul Hoover and Teresa Kane Hoover. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Sullivan (John), R. Michael Schafer (Katie), Paul G. Schafer (Rae) and Carol Schafer McGowan; her grandchildren, Colleen Sullivan Rathburg, Daniel L. Schafer, Robert H. Schafer, John Schafer, Amy E. Schafer, Ann E. Schafer and Andrew R. McGowan; and her great grandchildren, Sullivan, Greta, Zoe and Flynn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Tel Hai Retirement Community's Care Assurance Fund.
