In the vast expanse of eternity, Val shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Val farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Richard W. Rommel and Isla Rommel (Mudge); and his son Jacob Richard Rommel. He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Bradshaw (Richard) of Forty Fort, PA and Alita Soulsby (Kurt) of Jessup, PA; his brother Mal Rommel (Barbara) of Mesa, AZ; his friends, Lord, Nichols, Wellsboro and Honesdale; and also Amy (Marks). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the White Mills United Methodist Church (671 Texas Palmyra Hwy, Hawley, PA 18428). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
