He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Nastasi; his parents, Antonio Battaglia and Camille Battaglia (Squadra); his son Anthony Battaglia; and his siblings, Mary Marco, Fanny Maiello, Jenny Castaldo, Dolly Cafasso, Paul Carmuto and Frank Battaglia.
He is survived by: his daughter Doris Brengel (Chris) of Honesdale; his sister Rosi Tedesco of Florida; his daughter-in-law Linda Battaglia of Fishkill, NY; his grandchildren, Joseph A. Bisceglie (Marium), Samantha Brengel, Christian Brengel and Jennifer Battaglia; his great grandchildren, Joseph T. Bisceglia Jr., Adriana, Kayanna Battaglia, April, Edward Bisceglia and Sophie Bisceglia; and his grandson-in-law Raymond Coolbaugh.
