He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Langan Kilroe; his siblings, John Weir Kilroe and Marjorie Kilroe Rutter; his close friend Sligo; and his parents, Thomas Francis and Marie Weir Kilroe.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas of Peckville and Matthew; his daughter-in-law Deborah of Falls Church, Virginia; and his niece Gigi of Williamsport. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
