It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma M. Barnes (Honesdale, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 6, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Glenn R. Barnes; her father Fredrick; her daughter Dianne Barnes; her grandson Nicholas Barnes; and her son-in-law Jeffrey DeYoung.
She is survived by: her children, Melody Gibbs (David), Nancy DeYoung, Gerard Barnes (Farrah Black) and Melissa Knecht (Kevin); her grandchildren, Carey Counterman (Barnes), Corrin Burke (Gibbs), Justin Gibbs, Cassandra DeYoung, Eric DeYoung, Joel DeYoung, Jessica Barnes, Meggan Barnes, Joshua Varcoe, Olivia Varcoe, Tanner Knecht, Samantha Rodriguez and Nathaniel Black; and her great grandchildren, Isabella, AnaLeigh Counterman, Ella, Aubrey Burke, Heavon, Dakota Hubbard, Peyton, Zane DeYoung and Josephine DeYoung. She is also survived by her 5 children.
