He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Scaparro and Gracia Scaparro; and his brother Joseph Scaparro. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Scaparro of Waymart, PA; his children, John, Ann Scaparro, Cristine, Ken Faustmann, Michael and Melissa Scaparro; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Rebecca, Matthew, Grayson and Lilli.
Richard's favorite charity was the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
