With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard D. Ballou of Honesdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 28, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Agustus Ballou and Ann Ballou (Turlip); his daughter Nicolle Ballou; and his wife Diane Ballou. He is survived by: his children, Erinne Miller, Donald Ballou (Jennifer), Michelle Coe (Michael) and Jeanne Ballou (Jason Young); his grandchildren, Bryan Hildebrandt, Donald, Molly, Wyatt Ballou, Justin, Joshua, Michael Coe and Meghan Ballou; and his former wife Jean Vitale.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Richard's memory to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.' Arrangements are entrusted to Jenkins-Howell Funeral Home, Inc. Edward R. Howell, Funeral Director, 269 Belmont Street, Waymart, PA 18472.
