She was predeceased by: her father Vernon DeGroat. She is survived by: her close friend David Hnatko; her mother Carol Spangenberg DeGroat; her children, Robert Hnatko of Honesdale, Ashley Hnatko of Honesdale and Cynthia (Frank Spinelli) of Hawley; her siblings, Arthur DeGroat of Beach Lake and Carol TenEyck; her mother-in-law Margaret Hnatko of Pleasant Mount; and her granddaughter Addyson Spinelli. She is also survived by mother and caring for her children and her granddaughter.
