He is survived by: his wife Virginia Anne Tredy; his son Michael Mansfield (Carrie) of Manahawkin, NJ; his siblings, Richard Mansfield (Carol) of Hampton, VA, Karen Grohsman (Frank) of Calabash, NC and Patti Grohsman of Conway, NC; his granddaughter Gwen Mansfield; and his brother-in-law Vincent Tredy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
