It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Mathews of Honesdale, Pennsylvania, born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on February 17, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul G. Bud and Mary Mathews Sr. Bud; his parents-in-law, Helen Osar and Harold Osar; and his brother-in-law John Osar.
He is survived by: his wife Jane; his son Paul H. Mathews of Waymart; his granddaughter Tiffany Rosler (Curtis) of Honesdale; his sister Miriam Champy (Al) of Eutawville, SC; and his brother-in-law James Osar of Honesdale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic, funeral arrangements will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Bud's memory to the Dessin Animal Shelter, 138 Miller Drive Honesdale, Pa 18431 Arrangements are attended by the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home 1228 Main Street Honesdale, Pa 18431.
