She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Fred Diehl Sr.; her parent Lynn Hopkins; her son Robert F. Diehl Jr.; and her great grandchild Aiden Melvin Irwin. She is survived by: her parent Edna Gillette Hopkins; her children, Susan Mohn (Rodney) of Beach Lake, Connie Turner (Danny) of Damascus, Sharon Hahn (Paul) of Callicoon Center, NY, Holly Kehoe (James) of Roseboom, NY and Michael Diehl of Harrisburg; her daughter-in-law Theresa Diehl (Cottell) of Honesdale; her siblings, Harold Hopkins (Betty) of Tyler Hill, Paul Hopkins (Jeri) of Lookout and Sandra Hartzell (Frank) of Montoursville, PA; and her sister-in-law Juanita Diehl of Damascus. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Marie requested that donations be made to the Wayne County Community Foundation Scholarship Fund in memory of her son Robert F. Diehl Jr., 214 Ninth Street, Honesdale, PA 18431.
