She was predeceased by: her father William Phillips. She is survived by: her husband Herb Bates; her children, Joseph Reed of Keansburg, NJ, Steven (Stephanie Reed) and Ashley Reed of Linwood, NJ; her stepson Jeremy Bates; her grandson Parker; her mother Phyllis Phillips of Honesdale; her brother Thomas; her sister-in-law Amy Phillips; and her nephews, Evan, Carter and Grey of Ann Arbor, MI.
Due to the current pandemic, the family would like everyone to know that despite their desire to have everyone who loved Mahota pay their respects, arrangements have been made private at this time however, a Celebration of Life.
