She was predeceased by: her parent Leo Gosciewski; her brother Leo Gosciewski; and her nephew Walter Prezelski. She is survived by: her husband William J. Smith; her parent Kathryn Gosciewski (Gorel); her children, Kathryn A. Smith (Clarence Myers) of Honesdale and Martin J. Smith (Crystal) of Jefferson Township; her grandsons, Caleb W. Lavelle and Lukas J. Smith; and her siblings, John Gosciewski of Michigan, Joseph Gosciewski of Uniondale and Margaret Prezelski of Uniondale. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
