He was predeceased by: his brother John A. Firmstone. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Firmstone (Garing); his children, Steven G. Firmstone (Michelle), Ronald J. Firmstone (Karen) and Lisa B. Firmstone; his grandson Landon J. Firmstone; and his sister Elizabeth "Betsy" Hattersley of Wayne County. He is also survived by his cousins, nieces, and nephews.
