He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Sporer and Florentine Sporer (Greenfield); and his siblings, Leo Sporer, Elizabeth Polt, Gerald Sporer and Lois Young.
He is survived by: his children, Jill Sporer of Louisville, Kentucky and Jay Sporer (Elaine Lytle) of Waymart; and his brother Tom Sporer (Kathy) of Honesdale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
