With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen M. Hafler (Honesdale, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 30, 2018 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard E. Hafler; her parent James W.; her daughter Donna Haas; her siblings, Hazel Arthur, Frances Weiss, Maybert Crane and James Arthur; and her grandson Corey Wells.
She is survived by: her parent Helen E. Arthur (Simpson); her children, Vera Halstead of Honesdale, Alan Lyons (Julie) of Beach Lake, Ron Lyons (Colleen) of North Carolina, Mike Turner of North Carolina, Doug Turner (Tracey) of Beach Lake and Gary Hafler (Kathy) of Honesdale; and her sisters, Janette Warner of Connecticut and Gail Turner (Tom) of Georgia. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
