We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Helen J. Osar of Honesdale, Pennsylvania, born in Haskell, New Jersey. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold W. Osar; her parents, Albert Hague and Helen Hague; her son John Osar; her stepson Harold J. Osar; and her brothers, Albert and David Hague.
She is survived by: her stepfather Clem Whritenour; her children, Jane Mathews (Paul G.) of Honesdale and James Osar of Honesdale; her grandson Paul H. Mathews of Waymart; her great grandchild Tiffany Rosler (Curtis) of Honesdale; and her sister-in-law Olive Hague of Haskell, NJ. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Due to the pandemic, funeral arrangements will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Helen's memory to the Dessin Animal Shelter.
