He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Hawley and Lottie Hawley (Diehl); and his siblings, Clayton, Lowell Hawley, Marion Daub, Gladys McCormick and Eleanor Keesler.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hellmers; his son Harold G. Hawley, Jr. (Maurya) of Equinunk; his siblings, Everett, Mark Hawley, Evelyn Peters, Grace Mills, Joyce Hellmers and Lois Koch; his grandchildren, Heather Miller (Bernie), Harold Hawley III (Sherry) and Adam Hawley (Amy); and his great grandchildren, Seth Miller, Katelyn, Jacob, Owen, Carter Hawley, Logan Simpson and Stacia Todd.
