He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Davey and Clara Decker Davey of Matamoras, PA.; and his brothers, Frank Davey, Sr. and Robert "Gus" Davey. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Hinter Markle; his son David Markle (Cynthia) of Danielsville, PA; his grandchildren, John Markle, Sarah and Chloe Markle; his siblings, Timothy Davey (Wendy) of North Chesterfield, VA, Roberta Williams (Jerry) of Matamoras, PA and Wilma Williams of Matamoras, PA; and his cousins, Twila Decker of Matamoras, PA and Fran Barada of Port Jervis, NY.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
