He was predeceased by: his parents, David Robert Rivenburg and Milinda Necle; his wife Alice Collins Rivenburg; his daughters, Donna Rivenburg Smith and Betty Rivenburg Sweeney; and his daughter-in-law Penny Nordenhold Rivenburg.
He is survived by: his sister Eleanor Brown of Palestine; his sister-in-law Mary Catherine Rivenburg of Maryland; his children, Mary Kipp (Larry) of Hawley and David G. Rivenburg of Honesdale; his grandchildren, Alan French of Beach Lake, Jason Kipp of Beach Lake, Dustin Rivenburg (Tiffany) of Beach Lake and Kassandra Rivenburg Shoup (Steven) of Dingmans Ferry; his great grandchildren, Katie French of Greentown and Maureen French of Greentown; and his grandsons, Ethan Rivenburg Shoup of Dingmans Ferry and Brody Rivenburg Shoup of Dingmans Ferry.
