We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2021, at the age of 77, Florence (Gardas) M. Carmody of Honesdale, Pennsylvania, born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Gardas and Anna Mae Gardas (Gitch); her brother Ronald J. Gardas; her parents-in-law, John D. Carmody and Dolores Jean Carmody; her brothers-in-law, Joseph D. Carmody and Al Gillette; and her daughter-in-law Kathryn Frisch Carmody.
She is survived by: her husband Robert V. Carmody; her children, Tammy Fennell (John Fennell) of Virginia Beach, VA., Robert Carmody (Jaci Rogers) of Honesdale, Kathleen Daniels (Mark Daniels) of Blandon, PA. and Nancy Neyhart (George Allport) of Emmaus, PA.; her sister Joanne Weigand of Hillsborough, NJ.; her grandchildren, Alyssa Jackson (Chris Jackson) of Davidson, NC., Patrick Fennell of Virginia Beach, VA., Bridget Pingel (Logan Pingel) of Kapaa, HI., Lindsey Carmody of Erie, PA, Hannah, Josiah Daniels of Blandon, PA., Anna and Finnley Neyhart of Emmaus, PA.; and her great grandchildren, Owen and Olivia Jackson. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
