She was predeceased by: her husband Martin Geer; and her parents, Reginald Dean and Ruth Simmons Dean. She is survived by: her children, Robert Doherty (Lida) of Honesdale, Laura Beard (Robert) of Quarryville, PA and Sharon Wilson (Mark) of Livermore, CA; her brother Jerry Dean of Tucson, AZ; and her grandchildren, Mallory, Robert Beard, Joshua, Jordan Wilson, Bryce and Olivia Doherty.
