We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Doris (Penwarden) L. Burke of Honesdale, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce R Burke of Honesdale; her parents, Norman Penwarden and Mildred Penwarden; and her brother Donald Penwarden. She is survived by: her children, Bruce Wayne Burke (Susan) of Beach Lake and Georganna 'Gann Corey (David) of Lake Ariel; and her brothers, Richard Penwarden of Arizona and Walter Penwarden of Florida. She is also survived by four Grandchildren, six Great Grandchildren and two Great Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid19, the immediate family will be having a private memorial service celebrating Doris' life.
The family requests any memorial donations be made in her memory to Wayne-Pike CEF, Inc., P.O. Box 628, Honesdale, Pa 18431.
