He is survived by: his children, Donald Hammond, Kevin Hammond (Janet), Charles Hammond (Darlene), John Butare (Lou), Donna Hammond and Jennifer Chase Bruno; and his brother Fred "Fritz" Hammond. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
