He was predeceased by: his wife Florence Canfield; his father Bernard G. Rickert; and his brother Bernard A. Rickert. He is survived by: his mother Norma Rickert (DeReamer) of Honesdale; his daughter Dawn Brister (Matt) of Carbondale; his stepchildren, Amy Faatz of Honesdale, Royce Faatz of Eynon, Debbie Faatz of Thompson, Cathy Long of Lake Ariel and Bruce Faatz of Moscow; his siblings, Chuck Rickert (Diane), Joe Rickert of Hawley, Jim Rickert (Bobby) of Waymart, Carol Davis of Honesdale and Jean Rickert of Honesdale; his grandchildren, Daniel and Brittany Brister; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon and Caylee Brister. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
