He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Young and Alzina Young (Brown); and his uncle Oliver Brown. He is survived by: his wife Linda M. Potter; his children, Jennifer Swanson-Weist (Brian Weist) of Honesdale, Thomas Swanson of Honesdale and Daniel Swanson of Pittsburgh, PA; and his grandchildren, Lars Swanson, Alyssa Corcoran, Brianna Weist and Elizabeth Williams. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

All attending are required to wear a mask and be brief when paying their respects to maintain social distancing.
