She was predeceased by: her husband Alfredo Ernesto Curiel; her parents, Emilio Barreras and Ramona Gautreaux; and her sons, Alfredo, Roberto and Alejandro Curiel.
She is survived by: her children, Francis Rembisz, Nora Curiel (Angel Castellanos) and David Curiel; her grandchildren, Guarionex P. Curiel (Rose), Roberto, Shamaya, Ramon and Marcos (Maritza); her great grandchildren, Guarito, Beauregard and Gustavo; and her friends, Osvaldo Escalera and Laura Santiago.
