She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon J. Rutledge and J. Alice Rutledge; her son Jerry (Jake); and her siblings, Leslie, Arthur, Cecil, Robert, Melvin, Laurita, Marion, Lucille, Evelyn and Grace.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Hopkins (Hoppy); her children, Donald (Patti), Rosanne, John (Linda), Mark (Carol) and Nancy Hart Honesdale (Ed); her daughter-in-law Holly; her grandchildren, Brett (Michelle), Matthew (Maura), Stephen (Casey), Shawn (Kathleen), Todd (Kaylan), Stephanie (Joe), Sarah (Brian), Christie (William), Scott (Jenna), Jenny (Jesse), Timothy (Brittany), Stacey (Colin) and Patrick; and her sisters-in-law, MaryEllen Rutledge, Jerri Hopkins and Sandy Hartzel (Frank). She is also survived by Many nephews, nieces and great nephews and great nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home (1228 Main St, Honesdale, PA 18431). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at the Hillside Cemetery (1728 Cochecton Turnpike, Damascus, PA 18415).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Wayne County Community Foundation (WCCF) Hopkins Fund or Damascus Volunteer Ambulance.
