She is survived by: her spouse Leo Martin; her children, Mary Ann Rutter (Robert Rutter) and James Martin (Kate Baxter) of Pleasant Mount; her grandchildren, Janine Harris and Jimmy Martin; and her great grandchildren, Rachael Martin and Christopher Martin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bernice's name to the donor's favorite charity.
