He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni Valerio and Anna Valerio (Spinnato). He is survived by: his wife Lina Scarfalloto; his children, Anna Valerio of Honesdale, John Valerio (Natasha) of Bethany and Salvatore Valerio (Jennifer) of Lakeville; his siblings, Giuseppe of Italy, Francesco Valerio of Hazelton, Francesca Valerio-LaMalfa of Italy and Ninfa Valerio-Cancemi of Italy; and his grandchildren, Leonardo Martinez-Valerio, Arianna, Alexander Benedetto, Aemilia, Sophia and Ben Valerio.
