He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Jay and Margaret Roberts (Thornton). He is survived by: his uncle Jimmy (Grampie); his wife Muriel Olver of Hawley, PA; his daughters, Linda Tierney (Michael) and Patti Booth (Gary); his granddaughters, Jill Tierney, Marcie Tierney, Tracy Mayer, Donna Goodman (Doug) and Julie Ghormley; his great grandchildren, Primley and Sianna Mayer; and his siblings, Jean Hicks, Richard Roberts and Renie Baumgardner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home (1228 Main St, Honesdale, PA 18431).
During Jim's twenty four years living with Parkinson's Disease, he received excellent care from his neurologist, the VA, and most recently, home hospice care, for which the family is truly grateful.
