He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hagmaier and Leona Hagmaier (Bronder); his wives, Joan (Jenkins) and Julie Ann (Kesling); and his children, Sheri Lesser (Don), Shirley Hagmaier, Suzanne Hagmaier and Edward M. Hagmaier.

He is survived by: his sister Geralyn Kaye. He is also survived by Pap to his 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
