With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles N. Stewart of Homestead, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stewart and Mary Stewart; his wife Ruth; his siblings, Olive McBay and Ray Stewart; his grandson Stewart; and his great grandchild Madelyn Rose.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Stewart (Karen) of Silver Spring, MD, Cheryl Smith (Ian) of Camrose, Alberta, Jane Stewart (George Volpe) of Lincoln, MA, Nina Baumstein (Scott) of Wantagh, NY and Barbara Chaparro (Alex) of Ormond Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Andrew (May), Erin, Caroline Smith (Curtis), Nico, Alec Stewart, Cole Volpe, Greg (Meaghan), Kate Baumstein, Annelise (Nathan) and Antonio Chaparro (Sonny); his great grandchildren, Rowan, Shiloh and Henry; and his caregivers, Teresa Sechrist and Alice Hinson.
