With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Shearer (Homer City, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 22, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Overdorff and Hazel Wilson Overdorff; her siblings, Jane Shannon and Gerald Overdorff; and her great grandchild Dylan Syers.
She is survived by: her husband Glenn W. Shearer; and her children, Daniel G. Shearer (Susan), Valerie J. Mueller (Bill) and Margie K. Bucci (Greg). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; two brothers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Graystone Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 640 Church St., Indiana, PA 15701, or to the donor's favorite charity.
