He was predeceased by: his father John Black Sr.; his grandmother Elsie McAdoo; and his aunt Lydia Rothrock. He is survived by: his parent Janice Murphy (McAdoo); his wife Tammy Black (Capelle) of Homer City, PA; his daughters, Shawna Hastings (Daniel) of Roanoke, VA, Ashley Fairbanks of Brush Valley, PA, Chelsea Capelle, Fiance Damon Shanner and Amanda Capelle (Nicholas Short); his siblings, John Black of Indiana, PA, Beth Ann Lawson (Matthew) of Indiana, PA, Stacie Sleasman (Joseph) of Blairsville, PA and Jeff Black of Homer City, PA; his grandchildren, Morgan, Brayden, Evrik, Conner, Noah, Rilyn, Lily and Shalyn; and his parent-in-law Catherine.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
