She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Romance and Anna Romance; her husband John Hancherick; and her sister Ramona Supko (Romance). She is survived by: her sons, John Hancherick of Jupiter, Fla. and Ron Hancherick of Columbus, Ohio; her grandchildren, Drew, Mitchell and Carly Hancherick; her brother Robert Romance; her sister-in-law Eleanor Romance; and her friends, Barb Worcester and Reno Garonzi. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Dorothy's name to the Alzheimer's Association for Alzheimer's research, or to Saint Andrew's Village, where she resided the last 20 months of her life.
