He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl George and Margaret George (Altman); his wife Julia (Taylor); and his sisters, Louise Babco and Dorothy Henry.
He is survived by: his brother Lisle George (Judy); his children, Randy (Patti), Alan (Debbie) and Aimee Leary (Brian); his grandchildren, Abby Vaughan (Brandon), Alicia Schweitzer (Nick), Lindsey Cates (Austin), Ashley George, Tori and Kara Leary; and his great grandchildren, Grayson, Max Vaughan, Logan, Graham, Benett Schweitzer and George Cates.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bowser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (4606 Old US 119 Hwy S, Homer City, PA 15748). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
