She was predeceased by: her husband Harold H. Hess; her parents, John S. Brubaker and Mary Kreider Brubaker; her child H. Laverne (late Judith Swartzentruber); her siblings, David Brubaker, Marlin Brubaker, AnnaMary Brubaker and Edna Hostetter; and her granddaughter Jaylene Hess.
She is survived by: her children, Caleb D. (Karen L. Histand) of Ulster, PA, Quentin B. (Jane Bowman) of Edgar, WI, Mary Lois Clay (late Marvin C.) of Mt. Airy, MD, E. Jane Drawbond (Larry) of Bemidji, MN and Ella Ruth King (Rodger S.) of Beavertown, PA. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.
