He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Walter and Maude Walter (Heiney); his wife Janet E. Walter (Herr); and his son Nathan Walter. He is survived by: his son David Walter, Sr.; and his close friends, Lori McDevitt, Amy (Scott Donaldson) and Erik (Ketrina Walter). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 siblings.
