He was predeceased by: his former wives, Lois Jane Stamm Kennedy and Norma Perry Lavelle Kennedy; and his brother Robert Kennedy. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Lavelle, Amy Lavelle, Ronald Kennedy (Mary Ann), Beth Broeren, Bonnie Lavelle, Donald Kennedy (Barbara), Kevin Lavelle (Lisa), Michael Lavelle (Maureen), Jeffrey Kennedy (Kristin) and Karen Saber. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
