He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Marie Lane; his parents, Jeremiah Lane and Elizabeth Lane; and his nephew Kevin Tubbs. He is survived by: his sister Jazzy; his children, Carley Lane (Charles Buchan) and Rylee Buchan; and his siblings, Rita Tubbs and Geraldine Ruggiero (Anthony). He is also survived by many niece and nephews.
