Merle Shaffer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 25, 2020, at the age of 89, Merle Shaffer of Hollsopple, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Merle Shaffer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd A. Shaffer and Grace Shaffer (Blough); and his siblings, Rachel Miller, Ruby Berkebile, Clair, Melvin, Floyd and Ralph Shaffer.
He is survived by: his wife Lois E. Shaffer (Mishler); his children, Lamar K. (Pamela), Jeffery N. (Donna), Sherry E. (Jim Thomas), Rhonda M. (Brad Benton), Mona F. (Don Fahnestock), Phillip M. (Suzanne), Wagoner and Craig A. (Tamara); and his siblings, Lloyd, Jr. (Lois), Eva (Roy Manges) and Thelma (Charles Tyler). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, a service will be held at a later date with inurnment at Blough Mennonite Cemetery.
