He was predeceased by: his parents, Venetia May Baumbarger (Pickens) and James Baumbarger; and his sister Donna Alley-Casey. He is survived by: his wife Linda (Yoder); his daughters, Wendy (Timothy Telenko), Stacey (Steve Cahill) and Pam (Larry Huffman); his grandchildren, Nicole (Josh Frankenfield), Hannah (Josh Babl), Maggie Telenko, Tanner, Taylor, Toby Cahill, Colten and Landon Huffman; his great grandchildren, Eleanor, Joanna and Max Frankenfield; his siblings, Karen Schaefer (Paul), Jack Weissner (Sandy) and Patty Klopher-Miller Miller (Steve); his brother-in-law Dan Casey; and his nephew Mike Honkus.
