He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Metz and Esther L. Metz (Gummo). He is survived by: his significant other Sharon L. Barr; his children, William R. (Heidi) of Hollidaysburg and Lorie A. Bechtel (Todd) of Curryville; his grandchildren, William R. (Carrie), Courtney Metz, Kelsey Strum (Nickolas) and Nicholas Bechtel; his great grandchildren, Avery and Kylar Metz; his siblings, Gloria Becker and Lenny Metz (Nadine) of Hollidaysburg; his siblings-in-law, Susan Chew, Bud Barr (Margie) and Ken Barr (Jackie); and his aunt Doris Kasprzyk. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
