She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Conrad and Mary Conrad (Sprout); and her siblings, Joe Conrad, Laverne Conrad and Doris Bisney (Conrad).
She is survived by: her husband Eugene "Gene" Frank Laratonda; her children, Denise Sayegh (Michael) of Castro Valley, Barbara Reiger of Altoona, Carol Huebner (Bernie) of Fort Royal and Scott Reiger (Brenda) of Mechanicsville; her stepchildren, Eugene "Skip" Laratonda of Pittsburgh, Lonnie Laratonda (Beverly) of Hollidaysburg, Craig Laratonda (Jennifer) of North Huntingdon, Brad Laratonda of Fairfield Ill, Lance of Hollidaysburg, Brian of Hollidaysburg, Seth of Hollidaysburg and Hedy Laratonda of Hollidaysburg; and her siblings, Lanore Cole (Conrad) of Greenville, S. C., Gladys Aranda (Conrad) of Pasadena, Calif., Bob Conrad (Jackie) of Tucson, Myrle Conrad (JoAnn) of Parma and Jim Conrad (Vicky) of Lodi.
Vera Marie Laratonda, 81, Hollidaysburg, died Thursday at the Maybrook Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center, following complications from Alzheimer's disease.
