He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles C. Meckley and Anna I. Meckley (Eisel); his wife Dorothy Mae McMullen; his son Charles P. Meckley; and his siblings, Frances Parks, Lawrence "Larry" Meckley, Leroy Meckley, Clarence "Jigs" Meckley, Jeannette Moore, James "Jim" Meckley and Donald Meckley.

He is survived by: his daughter Amy S. Clouse (Mark) of Martinsburg; and his grandson Aaron T. Clouse (Genevieve LaFosse) of Martinsburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
