It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred M. Helsel (Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania), born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Shaw and Fanny Shaw (Holland); her husband Ralph E. Helsel; her daughters, Amy Knipmeyer and Cathy Barnes; her grandchildren, Laura Mae, Jeremy Knipmeyer and Jacob Ebersole; her siblings, Olive Delozier, Melvin Shaw, Amos Shaw and Marion Shaw; and her daughter-in-law Jenny Helsel.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Burger (James) of Blue Knob, Patty Salyards (Charles) of Blue Knob, Christine Kabellar (Kevin), Kevin of Blue Knob and Tim (Lisa) of Blue Knob; her brother Boyd Shaw; and her sons-in-law, Barry Barnes and Jay Knipmeyer. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren.
