She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Davis and Virginia G. Davis (Gardner); her former husband Ralph Shannon (Joe); her husband Harold Smeigh; and her siblings, Robert, Newton and Ginny.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Ray of Franklin, Sally Mattas of Altoona, Deborah Burton and Ralph Shannon Jr. (Joe); and her brothers, Gregg of Mercersburg and Richard. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers, family request donations can be made to Duncansville Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1200 4th Avenue, Duncansville, PA 16635.
